Through the Community Partnership Program supported by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, the Dedication Team from Muhmmadiyah University of Malang, chaired by Nur Hayatin, S.ST., M.Kom. from Informatics Study Program with team members Aini Alifatin, S.Kep., M.Kep. from the Nursing study program, developed the Simomi application, an Android-based lactation management guidance application.
The Simomi application was developed by considering the number of smartphone users and the limited internet connection in Indonesia. Simomi is an application that is run through smart phones. The advantage of this Simomi is that it can be accessed anytime and anywhere, both offline and online, so that mothers and village cadres can learn independently about optimal lactation management.
On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, the implementation team also handed over the Lactation room at the Jatikerto village office district. Kromengan kab. Malang was handed over by the head of the implementation team, Nur Hayatin to the Head of Jatikerto Village, Muhammad Satu. This is also a sign of lactation management training activities and the use of the Simomi application for cadres.
